Each year, World of Children Awards are given to Honorees who are working on a wide range of issues affecting children - health, education, hunger and human rights.

As the only global recognition and funding program exclusively for people who are pioneering life-changing programs for children in need, World of Children's Honorees are unique and inspiring change makers. Our Honorees are doing extraordinary work for no pay, and many even risk their lives every day to help children in their communities - rescuing them from child prostitution rings, drug lords and infectious disease - all because they believe this work simply must be done.

World of Children Awards are presented each year to Honorees, and cash grants are then awarded to the children's programs that have been established by the Honorees.

Founded in 1998, the World of Children has now awarded more than $2 million in cash grants to 78 change makers, working in more than 35 countries worldwide. These Honorees are spearheading more than 100 life-changing organizations worldwide - and their work is collectively impacting millions of children.
