Established in 1998, World of Children recognizes and elevates selfless individuals who make a difference in the lives of children across the globe. The World of Children honors these leaders, and grants them funds to support the proven, high-impact programs they have created.

In 2008, two grants of up to $100,000 each, will be given to support the proven, sustainable programs created and managed by adult Award Winners. One Humanitarian Award and grant, and one Health Award and grant, will be given this year.

Also this year, two grants of up to $25,000 each, will be presented to young people who are making extraordinary contributions to the lives of other children.

For 10 years, the World of Children has proudly searched the globe to find people who are leading high-impact programs that change children's lives...forever. We now have 70 Award Winners overseeing work in 35 countries, on six continents.
