June 14, 2004 (Columbus, OHIO)—World of Children, Inc. today announced
that David W. Lippy has resigned as president, effective July 1, 2004.
World of Children, Inc., which manages the World of Children Awards, is
in the process of identifying a new Executive to lead the organization.
“David has been a valuable member of World of Children’s executive
management team. His contributions over the past three years have helped
us build a strong foundation for the organization’s future,” said Dr.
Harry Leibowitz, co-chair of World of Children’s Board of Governors.
“David spearheaded growth in our organization, expanded our structure
and developed related sponsors, partners and strategic alliances around
the globe. We celebrate his achievements and wish him well.”
Lippy, who has two children under the age of six at home, leaves to
spend more time with his family.
