| Harry Leibowitz is the Founder and Chair of the World of Children Awards. Harry began his business career with the Procter & Gamble Company where he held numerous marketing management positions. He left in 1972 to join ESMARK and spent more than 8 years living and working abroad in Europe and Canada, and left as EVP. He struck out on his own in 1981 founding Partners In Marketing, which he sold in 2002 to devote full time to World of Children. Harry has BA and MA degrees from Brooklyn College, City University of NY and did his doctoral work at Wayne State University. He has been recognized for his work with children by receiving the P&G Alumni Humanitarian Award in 2007, The Reclaiming Youth International Child Advocacy Award in 2006 and the Starr Commonwealth Child Advocacy Award in 1999. He is currently Co-Chairman of the Board of World of Children Awards. |
