Jerald S. Politzer has been an executive in both retailing and venture capital for over 35 years. Jerry served for 16 years with Hecht Company and left there as Executive Vice President to become President and CEO of G. Fox Stores in 1986. Subsequent to that he spent 9 years with Melville Corporation where he was an Executive Vice President. Most recently, Jerry was with Barrington Capital Group, was an Executive Vice President at Filene’s Basement and President of Value City. Jerry is a graduate of the University of Maryland. He joined the World of Children Award's Board of Governors in 2007.
