Harry Leibowitz is the co-founder and co-chair of World of Children. Harry began his business career with the Procter & Gamble where he held numerous marketing management positions. He left in 1972 to join ESMARK, spent more than eight years living and working abroad in Europe and Canada and left as executive vice president. He struck out on his own in 1981 founding Partners in Marketing, which he sold in 2002 to devote full time to World of Children.

He has been recognized for his work with children by receiving the Procter & Gamble Alumni Humanitarian Award in 2007, the Reclaiming Youth International Child Advocacy Award in 2006, the Starr Commonwealth Child Advocacy Award in 1999, and the prestigious Ellis Island Medal of Honor in 2012. Harry has been featured in AWEARNESS: Using Ordinary Resources to Do Extraordinary Things, The Humanitarian Leader in Each of Us: 7 Steps That Shape a Socially Responsible Life, and When Core Values are Strategic – How the Basic Values of Procter & Gamble Transformed the Leadership at Fortune 500 Companies.

Harry has a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts degree from Brooklyn College, City University of New York and completed his doctoral work at Wayne State University.

Kay Isaacson-Leibowitz is the co-founder and co-chair of World of Children. After 38 years as a dynamic corporate executive in the fashion industry, Kay retired from management in 2003 after. She served as executive vice president and general merchandise manager of Victoria’s Secret for 10 years, and prior to that, held the position of acting president for Banana Republic.

She is a leading fashion retail expert who is a former Board of Directors member for GUESS?, Inc. as well as a former board member of Coldwater Creek. Kay is a past chair of the advisory board of The City University of New York Honors College. She has also been involved in philanthropy for a long time, having been an early supporter of Brian’s House for children with HIV/AIDS in Dallas, Texas

Ranjan Manoranjan is the principal of Prime AE Group, Inc. and president of QuickAccountant in Dublin, Ohio.

He currently serves on the Columbus-Franklin County Finance Authority and previously served on the executive board of the Ohio Society of CPAs. He is currently on their Statewide Political Endorsement Committee. Appointed by the Governor of the State of Ohio, he served a six-year term on the State of Ohio Board of Tax Appeals. He was awarded the Ellis Island Medal of Honor in May 2005 by the National Ethnic Coalition of Organizations for his dedication to his ethnic heritage through American society.

Ranjan earned his CPA designation from the Accountancy Board of Ohio in 1980. He holds degrees from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Columbo, Sri Lanka, and The Institute of Cost & Management in London, England. Ranjan joined World of Children’s Board of Governors in 2004 and now serves as treasurer and a member of the executive committee.

Roberta Romberg is the president at Romberg Law Office PC based in the San Francisco Bay Area. She has more than 30 years of experience as both outside and inside legal counsel and a senior executive for a wide range of businesses, ranging from mature Fortune 100 public companies to new ventures, as well as two periods of government service, focusing on general business and corporate law, securities, aviation and business aircraft, and labor and employment law.

Roberta graduated from Tufts University Jackson College, received her J.D. from New York University School of Law and holds an advanced diploma in graduate legal studies from the University of Stockholm. She joined World of Children’s Board of Governors in 2007 and now serves as secretary and a member of the executive committee.

Jill Beraud is currently a director for Levi Strauss & Co. She most recently served CEO for Ippolita and as executive vice president for Tiffany & Co. Prior to that, she held positions as CEO of Living Proof, chief marketing officer of PepsiCo and president of Starbucks/Lipton joint ventures. Jill spent 13 years at Limited Brands, most notably as chief marketing officer of Victoria’s Secret and executive vice president of marketing for their broader portfolio of specialty brands including Bath & Body Works, C.O. Bigelow, Henri Bendel, Express and Limited Stores.

Jill holds an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, a bachelor of science degree from Boston University and also serves on the leadership advisory board of the Wharton School’s Global Consulting Practice. She joined World of Children’s Board of Governors in 2009.

Devin Beresheim was recently appointed as executive vice president of Lockton Specialty Practices, responsible for designing strategic growth plans across the company’s specialty practices in addition to building out cyber strategies. A 28-year industry veteran, Devin most recently served as the Financial and Professional Liability (FINPRO) Practice Leader for Marsh in both the US and Canada. He frequently speaks at both the New York City and Long Island Chapters of the Risk and Insurance Management Society, as well as the New York City Bar Association.

Devin currently resides in New York with his wife and three children. He joined World of Children’s Board of Governors in 2013.

Molly Eldredge was born and raised in La Jolla, CA and enjoyed a 17-year career in retail as both owner and operator for a number of boutiques in La Jolla and downtown San Diego. Most recently, she served as president of Regency Galleries and Gifts, Inc., In 2005, she decided to leave the retail industry and focus on her philanthropic goals.

An active supporter of Project Concern International, Molly chaired the PCI Hands Across Borders Auction in 2014 and is an active fundraiser for their Vulnerable Children’s Program in India. In 2017, she was honored by PCI with its inaugural Anne Otterson Community Connector Award for her outstanding advocacy work. Additionally, she has held leadership positions for several causes including San Diego-based Outside the Lens and Rainforest Alliance, and she currently sits on the board for Manchester Financial Group.

Molly graduated from the University of Colorado with a degree in international affairs. She joined World of Children’s Board of Governors in 2016.

Francis Fraenkel is a native of New Orleans who has now lived in New York City for over 30 years. He is currently Managing Director of Neuberger Berman, a leading money management firm in New York.

In the 1970s, Francis was a Partner at Loeb Rhoades & Co. prior to joining Shearson American Express where he held numerous positions until resigning as chairman and CEO of the Lehman Management Co. in 1989. In 1991, he founded Delta Capital Management which was subsequently acquired by Neuberger Berman.

Francis is a graduate of the Tulane University School of Business where he was named outstanding alumnus in 1983. He joined World of Children’s Board of Governors in 2007.

Adam Freede co-founded MadaLuxe Group in 2010, and under his leadership as President of the company, MadaLuxe Group became North America’s largest distributor of luxury fashion and accessories. In 2018, Adam became CEO of MadaLuxe Group, establishing himself as an accomplished executive and a respected industry player. He has led visionary growth strategies and infrastructure evolutions that continue to position MadaLuxe Group as a trailblazer in the luxury space.

Adam graduated from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University. He joined World of Children’s Board of Governors in 2014.

Bertan Kalatchi is the CEO of JohnPaulRichard, Inc., a women’s fashion line based out of Los Angeles and founded by John Paul Beltran and Richard Hirsh in 1996. Bertan joined the company as a partner shortly after inception and has helped lead the fashion-minded and customer-conscious company over the last 20 years.

Bertan was born in Istanbul, Turkey and is a graduate of Tel Aviv University in Israel. He joined World of Children’s Board of Governors in 2010.

Stephanie March is an actor, philanthropist, and entrepreneur. She is best known for her role as Alexandra Cabot on the hit TV series Law & Order SVU, and in 2015, she starred in Adult Swim’s Neon Joe. She has appeared in 30 Rock, Grey’s Anatomy, Odd Mom Out and Mr. & Mrs. Smith—among many others—and has been seen onstage in the critically acclaimed revivals of Death of a Salesman, Talk Radio, and Boys’ Life.

She is the co-founder of the makeup salon Rouge NY, which she founded with her longtime Law and Order SVU makeup artist Rebecca Perkins.

Stephanie spends a significant amount of time traveling globally in her capacity as an activist for causes benefiting women, children, and education. She is on the advisory board of OneKid OneWorld and recently joined the global advisory board for Planned Parenthood.

She has been a spokesperson and advocate for World of Children since 2010 and graciously served as a co-host or presenter at the annual Awards Ceremony & Benefit from 2010-2016. Her travels with World of Children have taken her to Ukraine, Nepal, Argentina, and Chile to see firsthand the work of our Honorees. In November 2015, she rang the NASDAQ opening bell for World of Children with Co-Founder Harry Leibowitz and long-time supporter Alina Cho.

In 2016, Stephanie was honored with World of Children’s Board of Governors’ Award for her extensive work and continuous support of our mission. She officially joined the Board of Governors in 2017.

Sandy Sholl is a visionary leader who has pioneered major cultural movements in the fashion industry for more than 25 years. In 2010, Sandy co-founded MadaLuxe Group, North America’s largest distributor of luxury fashion and accessories. After eight years as the CEO, she recently stepped in to the role of executive chairman. From investing in brands to launching new direct-to-consumer concepts, Sandy is a visionary force behind the company’s triumphs.

Sandy is equally dedicated to philanthropic efforts and is an active contributor to various causes. She serves on the Board of Directors for Tikva Children’s Home, which cares for homeless and abused Jewish children within the former Soviet Union.

Sandy joined World of Children’s Board of Governors in 2012.

Sue Steinberg is retired from a 27-year career in retail human resources, which included training, development and recruiting responsibilities.

Her current philanthropic and community activities include serving as a trainer in English as a Second Language (ESL) and as a board member of san Francisco’s Smuin Ballet.

Sue is a graduate of Brooklyn College and attended the New York University Graduate School of Business Administration. She joined World of Children’s Board of Governors in 2007 and leads the compensation committee and serves on the development committee.
