Joan Hornig has enjoyed successful careers from Wall Street executive, to jewelry designer and ardent philanthropist. In 2003 Joan combined her passion for jewelry and philanthropy when she launched her own jewelry collection, supported by her own unique business model. Through the Joan B. Horning Foundation, she now donates 100% of her profits on each piece of jewelry to the charity of the buyer's choice. Joan is the Founder & CEO of Philanthropy is Beautiful ® Jewelry, and Founder & Director of the Joan B. Hornig Foundation, which has donated more than $500,000 to more than 500 charity initiatives all around the world. Joan earned a degree in Fine Arts from Harvard University. Joan holds an MBA from Columbia Business School, where she also served as Director of Corporate Relations and External Development. Joan joined World of Children in April of 2009.
