Archana Kumar has worked for BBDO for nearly 10 years, and is their current Executive Vice President and Senior Director of Behavioral Planning in New York. While working with BBDO, Ms. Kumar has helped develop their brand model, as well as such blue-chip business as PepsiCo, GE, FedEx, Motorola, Unilever and Campbell’s Soup. Most recently, Ms. Kumar led a global team of eight countries and countless strategists and creatives in winning the iconic Johnson’s Baby business globally – a historic move, as the business had been with the incumbent agencies for over 40 years.

Through various professional endeavors abroad, Ms. Kumar has developed a truly global business perspective. Prior to her tenure with BBDO, she was the Group Account Director of Bates PanGulf, located in Dubai, where she successfully launched Imperial Leather, resulting in a 7 point increase in awareness and 2 point increase in market share. From 1995-1997 she worked as the Client Services Director of Lowe & Partners in Cairo, Egypt where she helped gain accounts such as Pepsi Restaurants – KFC, Pizza Hut, Baskin Robbins, Impulse and Axe deodorants. Ms. Kumar spent years working as the Group Account Manager of Ogilvy, Bangalore, Delhi and Bombay, India where she launched a new Unilever soap Le Sancy, which picked up a 16% share in a competitive category.
